The vibrant area offered plenty of dining options, including hand-cut steaks, and free parking was a significant plus. some street noise could be heard at night, and the lack of a lift may be inconvenient for those with heavy luggage.

I had a great time during my stay, enjoying the large room and massive bathroom. It’s so close to Holyrood Park, making it perfect for weekend strolls by the greenery and stunning hiking up Arthur's Seat, which is just a bit under 3 km away, truly an excellent choice for any city explorer like me.

The breakfast at Culane House was a proper feast, setting the tone for the day ahead! Nearby, I discovered some lovely eateries like Bombay Spice that had delicious curries, and The Lioness of Leith served up mouthwatering pub grub that's hard to beat.
